To use it all up

Before the beginning of this year, I was starting to notice a trend in my purchases and the stuff I have laying around my room. Most are half-used and some are just pathetically hanging out in the corner of my vanity collecting dust. Obviously, its not a good sight and what I saw was me wasting money.

So, I figured I need to do something about all this... Then I saw various renditions of the Project Pan and I thought this is very cool. I can use this to help me get rid of my stuff and ultimately use the products I bought using my hard earned money. Maybe even do a proper review, pick the real hit and misses and, well, control my spending. :)

Naturally, I had to think of certain restrictions or guidelines that I need to adhere to when it comes to this little project. And, here's what I have:
1. This is not just a hit pan situation - this is to honestly, to use up the entire thing. Provided I am not allergic to it or causing me breakouts.
2. This will include makeup, skin and face, and hair care products.
3. I can only repurchase once I have completely emptied up a certain product and there's no replacement already in my possession.
4. For every makeup slip up, there will be a consequence. Additional 5 miles of running for 2 weeks.

I know I am a little biased here (makeup v. skin/face/hair care). But, I know that between the two I am more prone to accumulate unused makeup than body care products before their expiration dates. So, yeah. :)

Hmmm, what else?

Oh, I already slipped last month in my haul. Hahahahaa! In January, I purchased 4 Elianto eyeshadows and a BB Cream - not to mention the other makeup products I purchased in December. I know, I was just starting out and I immediately caved in. But, that doesn't bother me. This is a continued effort that I know I need to do. It's not the end of the world, is it? So, anyway. I paid for that purchase already. I have been running because of it for the past 3 weeks actually. So, yay - me! :)

Another thing - there won't be a maximum number of products in my little challenge here. Because, I wanted to do this forever (hopefully... wish me luck), like a lifestyle change, to avoid wasting both good money and products. :)

To help document my progress I will post entries of this sort under my challenges. So, yeah! Exciting!

Have a lovely day! :)
